Fox News' Todd Starnes: Today’s “Homophobe” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Todd. In the past, he has been the recipient of seven () Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
In a recent (07/01/15) rant before the First Baptist Church of Texarkana, Todd Starnes, pundit for the Fox News Comedy Network falsely asserted that anti-Christian persecution is running amok in the U.S. of A. Toddy used this false claim to call on churches to resist gay marriage.
The problem with Toddy’s Loony BS is the fact that churches can lawfully decide not to perform a marriage ceremony involving two gay folks. What the Supreme Court ruled was that a governmental agency cannot discriminate against gay folks by refusing to provide them with a marriage license.
Todd then told the low I.Q. attendees that the Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage equality was likely responsible for storms and floods in D.C., which happened the day after the ruling (Brian Tashman) Todd then said:
In an overt effort to play to the African-American bigots in the church, Todd attempted to equate the efforts to remove the Confederate flag with the Court’s equal marriage ruling by saying:
Todd is nothing more than an opportunistic Bigot who determined years ago that he could earn a handsome living by attacking the gay community, African American and other minority groups. Stoking the flames of bigotry and hatred are the mainstays for Todd and those of his ilk.
Congrats Todd; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Homophobes”; you are far too humble.
