Attorney Cary Sklar of DC; ethical misfit

The District of Columbia presented Cary P. Sklar with a law license in 1981.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Cary guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Commingled settlement proceeds belonging to a union member client with operating funds of the union
  • Failed to deposit entrusted funds into properly designated trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Cary by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Cary practices with the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims at 625 Indiana Avenue NW in Washington, DC.
