Attorney Gregory O’Duden of DC; ethical leprechaun

The District of Columbia presented Gregory J. O’Duden with a law license in 1978.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to ensure underling attorney’s adhered to disciplinary rules
  • Failed to take remedial action to avoid or mitigate consequences of misconduct engaged in by underling attorney
  • Failed to establish trust account for client
  • Attorneys under O’Duden’s supervision commingled client funds with operating funds of the union he represented
  • Failed to deposit entrusted fund in properly designated trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Greg practices with the National Treasury Employees Union at 1750 H Street NW in Washington, DC.
