Attorney Adam Cook of Peterborough, NH; ethical dwarf

The state of New Hampshire presented Adam Cook with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the Massachusetts School of Law.

The Professional Conduct Committee on Professional Standards found Adam guilty of the following misconduct.

• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Violated his duties he owed to his client
• Failed to file notice of appeal in timely manner
• Failure to file timely appeal notice led to dismissal of client’s appeal

As a consequence of his misconduct his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Adam by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
