Attorney William Rast Jr. of W. Columbia, SC; serial offender

The State of South Carolina presented Williams Y. Rast Jr. with a law license in 1965 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

Billy’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to comply with statute of limitations in client matter
• Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Billy!)
• Failed to maintain client funds in separate and identifiable account
• Client prejudiced by misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Billy’s 4^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Failed to timely file family court order 
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Billy!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to expedite client litigation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015) Billy practices at 1316 Augusta Road in West Columbia, South Carolina.
