Attorney Catherine Sas of Vancouver, BC; cheating loser

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented Catherine A. Sas with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan found Cathy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misappropriated (stole) trust funds of 22 clients and/or improperly withdrew or authorized the improper withdrawal of said trust funds
• Used one client’s trust funds to pay fees that were not properly charged to said client
• Authorized withdrawal of funds held in trust for 40 clients w/o delivering a bill to the personal charged in contravention of the rules
• Failed to retain copies of any bills
• Engaged in reckless conduct in regards to client trust funds

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Saskatchewan Committee punished Cathy by gifting her with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Cathy practices with Miller Thompson LLP at 840 Howe Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
