Attorney John Cicilline of Providence; convicted felon

The state of Massachusetts provided John M. Cicilline with a law license in 1985.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Assisted client in receipt of favorable treatment by federal authorities when client was facing lengthy prison term for dealing in large quantities of marijuana
  • Concocted fraudulent scheme for client to receive significant sentencing reduction
  • Coached client about how to present false information to federal authorities
  • Convicted in federal court from criminal conduct and sentenced to prison

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Johnny by disbarring him.

Unbelievably, the comedians sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers later reinstated Johnny the Convicts law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2015) Johnny practices at 387 Atwells Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island.
