Judge Jocelyn Regencia of Philippines; lazy Dumbo

The Phillipine Supreme Court provided Jocelyn G. Regencia with a law license in 1994

The Office of the Court Administrator found Judge Regencia guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Gross inefficiency
  • Gross ignorance of the law (Dumbo)
  • Serious dereliction of duty
  • Allowed more than two years to pass before ruling in a case
  • Failed to promptly dispose of cases assigned to her within 30 days from submission of the last affidavit or position paper submitted to her

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on Phillipine Supreme Court punished Judge Regencia by gifting her with a laughable “stern warning” and a $850 fine.

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Regencia continues to sit as Municipal Circuit Trial Court judge in Cebu, Philippines.
