Attorney William Runco of Dearborn, MI; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan presented William J. Runco with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from Albany University Law School.

The Judicial Commission found Billy guilty of the following misconduct all of which took place while he was employed as a 19th District Court judge in Dearborn.

  • Engaged in self-dealing contrary to client interests
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Billy!)
  • Breached fiduciary duty owed to clients
  • Engaged in egregious conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Billy buy gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2016) Billy practices at 100 North Brady Road in Dearborn, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
