Pope should shut up about Climate Change 

Chief Apologist and Serial Ass-Kisser for the energy sector, Sen. Jim Inhofe (OK) recently (mid-June 2015) took offense to the Pope’s comments about climate change by saying the Pope should refrain from sharing his thoughts. (Jacob Kerr, Huffington Post)

Jimmy made his asinine comments while speaking at a climate change conference hosted by the right-wing Heartland Institute. At the event, Jimmy said:

• “Everyone is going to ride the pope now.”
• “Isn’t that wonderful?”
• “The pope ought to stay with his job, and we’ll stay with ours [kissing the ass of the energy czars].”

Of course Jimmy knows that his handlers in the energy sector cannot afford to start calling the Pope a commie and a nutcase since that would clearly alienate a large portion of their customer base, not to mention many members of congress.

Hopefully, the energy czars reimbursed Jimmy for the cost he incurred in purchasing a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads while he was genuflecting in their honor at the Heartland Institute.
