Attorney Eugene Polk of Pensacola; ethical gremlin

The state of Florida presented Eugene Keith Polk with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Gene guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed to timely file client’s appellate brief

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary 91-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Gene practices with McGuire & Polk at 201 East Government Street in Pensacola, Florida.
