Attorney Tara Chornoby of Saskatoon; thief, tax cheat  

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented Tara Dionne Chornoby with a law license in 1999.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan found Tara guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct unbecoming an officer of the court (Pray tell!)
• Misappropriated (stole) funds while employed as associate with Risk & Company
• Failed to remit fees to the Federal and Provincial governments as required by law
• Willfully evaded payment of $4,990 in income taxes over 4-year period of time by understating her income by $25,000

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Saskatchewan Committee punished Tara by gifting her with a complimentary 2-month suspension of her law license.
