Attorney Evatt Merchant of Saskatchewan; ethical dwarf

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented Evatt Francis Anthony Merchant with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from Ottawa University Law School.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan found Evatt guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct unbecoming an officer of the court (Pray tell!)
• Failed to abide by court order
• Failed to pay settlement funds to client as ordered by court
• Advised or assisted client in disobeying court order

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Saskatchewan Committee punished Evatt by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $500 fine.

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Evatt practices with the Merchant Law Group LLP at 100-2411 Saskatchewan Drive in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
