The state of North Carolina provided James Garfield Williams IV with a law license in 2004.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to reconcile trust account
• Failed to ensure that monthly and quarterly reconciliations were performed
• Failed to maintain proper client ledgers

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jimmy.
