Attorney Jane Cotton of Anderson, IN; ethical misfit

The state of Indiana provided Jane Guthridge Cotton with a law license in 1993

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Jane guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a improper ex parte (one-sided) communication with judge
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Jane by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015) Jane practices at 2 West Eight Street in Anderson, Indiana.
