Attorney Philip Hingson of Portland, OR; cheating loser

The state of Oregon provided Philip A. Hinson with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Brigham Young University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Collected fee in violation of Oregon law
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Collected fee from estate without prior court approval
  • Collected an illegal or excessive fee (cheater)
  • Misconduct injured client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Phil.

As we speak (ca. June 2015) Phil practices with The Hingson Law Firm PC at 7157 SW Beveland Street in Portland, Oregon.
