Attorney Justin Hurst of Hot Springs, AR; serial offender

The state of Arkansas presented Justin Byrum Hurst with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Josh guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to timely file appeal on client’s behalf
  • Violated court orders regarding representation of client
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to withdraw representation when required to do so
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Justin’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary cautions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Justin by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

As we speak (May 2015), Justin practices at 518 Ouachita Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
