Attorney John Salisbury of Grants Pass, OR; ethical dwarf

The state of Oregon provided John Powers Salisbury with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Requested client engage in conduct detrimental to her interests
  • Engaged in misconduct knowingly
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Clients suffered injury from misconduct visited upon them
  • Misconduct motivated by selfish interest
  • Victims of misconduct were vulnerable

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Johnny.

As we speak (ca. May 2015) Johnny practices at 560 NE F Street in Grants Pass, Oregon.
