Judge Marilyn Moores of Indianapolis; moronic loser

The state of Indiana presented Marilyn Ann Moores with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from the University of Indiana Law School.

In 2005, Gov. Mitch Daniels was duped into appointing Marilyn as a Marion County judge. Marilyn didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the Indianapolis area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In a recent (May 2015) opinion, the Indiana Supreme Court criticized Judge Moores’ conduct an remarks on the bench, calling it “unreceptive and hostile.” (Kara Kenney)

The court went on to say that Judge Moores called a a parties’ dispute “ridiculous and retarded” during a recent Child in Need of Services (CHINS) case. Child Services initiated the CHINS proceeding over a child who was locked out of her home for arriving too late, even though she was at work.

The child’s mother said the child was in need of services, but the father denied the claim, stating he intended to seek custody of the child.

From the beginning of the hearing, Moores expressed impatience, responding to the parties’ discussion of overlap between custody in the divorce and placement in the CHINS case by stating, “My hair hurts.” Moore went on to tell the parents, “you two get this figured out where this child is going to be so that her life is not impacted by the stupidity that is going on in both of your lives.”

The Supreme Court reversed Moores’ decision, saying her conduct and remarks breached her duty of impartiality. The court went on to rule that Moores deprived the father of his constitutional due process rights.

It is inconceivable that a judge would be allowed to remain on the bench when he/she knowingly violates a parties due process rights. Apparently, Judge Moores believes that “due process” is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the a.m.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Moores remains sitting as a Marion County Juvenile Court judge in Indianapolis, Indiana.
