Attorney Richard Deaguero of Dallas; thieving loser

The state of Texas presented Richard Joseph Deaguero with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

The District 6 Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file notice of appearance on client’s behalf
• Failed to notify court and client’s court-appointed attorney that he client had retained his services
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to refund $1,500 in unearned advance fees (thief)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 18-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dick.
