Attorney Joseph Cavallo of Irvine, CA; convicted felon

The state of California provided Joseph Gerard Cavallo with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Western State University Law School.

The California State Bar found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

Joey was convicted of three felonies, including capping accepting clients through a recommendation by a licensed bail bondsman. Subsequently, Joey was sentenced to six month of house arrest and three years probation, and was fined $18,336.

A random check by the district attorney revealed that Cavallo was hired by a higher number of arrested individuals than would have been expected by chance. Joey paid referrals of $300 to $500 for each referral he received from the bail bondsman.

As consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015) Joey practices at 17897 McArthur Blvd in Irvine, California, which is located in Orange County.
