Attorney Everett Walton of Hilo, HI; ethical misfit

The state of Hawaii presented Everett Walton with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Chicago Law School. 

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Everett guilty of the following misconduct.

• Assisted corporation in the illegal practice of law
• Submitted disclosure of compensation with US Bankruptcy Court that inaccurately stated a fee arrangement he was involved in
• Shared fees with a non-Hawaii corporation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Everett by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Everett practices at 190 Keawe Street in Hilo, Hawaii.
