Attorney Benjamin Peppard of Ft. Worth, TX; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas presented Benjamin Robert Peppard with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

A panel of the District 6 Grievance Committee found Benny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to perform any legal services on client’s behalf
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to surrender papers/property to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 18-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Benny.

As we speak (ca. April 2016), Benny practices with the Peppard Law Firm at 400 East Weatherford Street in Fort Worth, Texas.
