Attorney Daniel Faigen of Victoria, AUS; ethical gremlin

The Victorian Law Society presented Daniel J. Faigen with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Dalhousie University Law School.

The Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act in best interests of homeowner clients
• Engaged in a conflict of interest by representing  both homeowners and seller in preparing sales contracts and tenancy agreements
• Failed to obtain required written acknowledgement and agreement from all parties regarding position as counsel for sellers and buyers
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to advise clients of risks of entering into agreements for the sales of their homes

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary order to pay a $5,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Danny practices at 15 Carre Street in Elsternwick, Victoria, Australia.
