The District of Columbia presented Luis S. Salgado with a law license in 1980.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Louie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to explain visa option to client
• Failed to return client phone calls
• Failed to disclose necessary info about consular interview
• Attempted to condition settlement of client’s ethics complaint on client’s pending Client/Arbitration Board matter
• Failed to pay client after Arbitration Board made award to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals Board punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.
