Judge Jessica Recksiedler of Sanford, FL; ethical gremlin 

The state of Nebraska presented Jessica J. Recksiedler with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from Stetson University Law School.

The Judicial Qualifications Commission found Judge Recksiedler guilty of the following misconduct.

• Exhibited complete lack of candor when dealing with Judicial Nominating Committee (JNC)
• When asked by JNC about her driving record, failed to disclose speeding ticket received on day she appeared before the JNC
• Testimony before JNC was misleading
• Engaged in conduct that demeaned her judicial office
• Failed to respect and comply with the law

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Jessica by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Jessica continues to sit as Seminole County Circuit Court judge in Sanford, Florida.
