Attorney Joseph Schaefer of Indianapolis; ethical dwarf  

The state of Indiana presented Joseph Stephen Schaefer with a law license in 1907 after he graduated from Harvard University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Joey continued to perform legal work for several clients while employed as an associate for a law firm. However, Joey attempted to conceal this work so that he could personally enjoy the financial fruits of such representation.

As a result of his deceitful conduct, the law firm discharged him.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Joey practices at 4040 South Meridian Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
