Attorney Humberto Guerrero Jr. of Austin; ethical gremlin  

The state of Louisiana presented Humberto G. Guerrero Jr. with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Humberto guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to keep client informed of status of her case
• Failed to comply with client requests for information
• Failed to have defendant properly served on client’s behalf
• Client’s lawsuit was dismissed due to Humberto’s gross negligence

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Humberto by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Humberto practices with the Law Offices of Bert Guerrero PC at 10306 Morado Cove in Austin, Texas.
