Attorney William Schultz of Denton, TX; ethical goblin

The state of Louisiana presented William Allen Schultz with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

As the lead prosecutor in an aggravated assault matter, Billy unlawfully obstructed another party’s access to evidence and failed to timely disclose to the defense all evidence or information known to him that tended to negate the guilt of the accused or mitigated the offense.

In truth, Billy didn’t give a damn if an innocent man was imprisoned as long as he could place another notch on his prosecutorial belt.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Billy

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Billy continues to be employed as an assistant prosecutor by the Denton County District Attorney at 1450 East McKinney in Denton, Texas.
