Attorney Ryan Beason of Houston; ethical dwarf

The state of Florida presented Ryan A. Beason with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Baylor University Law School.

The District Grievance Committee found Ryan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with minimal continuing legal education
  • Failed to comply with annual registration requirements
  • Failed to pay mandatory bar dues
  • Failed to pay disciplinary assessment of costs
  • Failed to timely give notification of change of address
  • Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law in another state
  • Failed to disclose trust account information

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Ryan by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Ryan practices in Houston, Texas.
