Attorney Thomas Broadwater of Aiken, SC; thieving loser

The State of South Carolina presented Thomas D. Broadwater with a law license in 1966 after he graduated from Florida A&M University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Violated duty as to attorney fees
  • Failed to safeguard client and third party properly
  • Disclosed client confidential information
  • Rather than distribute settlement funds to client, Tommy diverted the funds for his use by paying his own personal medical expenses (crook)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Tommy practices with Broadwater Law Aiken, South Carolina.
