Mike Huckabee Today’s “Moron” Award Winner

During a recent (04/01/15) appearance on the Un-Family Research Council’s Washington Watch Comedy Show, Mike Huckabee (The Huck) feigned outrage that Walmart had come out against Arkansas’ religious freedom law that confers the right to discriminate against gay folks.
The Huck told the Research Council’s Resident Comedian Tony Perkins that the gay community had turned the controversies surrounding “religious freedom” legislation in Arkansas and Indiana into a “phony crisis.” (Brian Tashman) The Huck went on to say:
Comedian Perkins stated that gay people who are denied service by a business should simply try to find another shop that will serve them rather than filing a lawsuit against discriminatory business owners. This caused The Huck to say, “Where will it stop”? In a lame effort at levity, The Huck said:
If The Huck’s claim that “it won’t stop until there are no more churches” came to fruition, it would for the most part mean there would less opportunities for Charlatans like Jimmy Swaggart and Pat Robertson to engage in Serial Fleece Flocking.
Lastly, I am unaware of any passages in the Bible where Jesus instructed and/or ordered his followers to discriminate against anyone. Of course the only reason that The Huck, Tony Perkins, and James Dobson of Focus on the Wallett do so is to financially enrich themselves.
Congrats Mike; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Morons”; you are far too humble.
