Attorney Michael McCullough of Denver; ethical gremlin

The state of Colorado provided Michael A. McCullough with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Utah Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly charged two client nonrefundable retainers
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to provide account of his fees to clients
  • Failed to promptly surrender to clients their retainers

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 9-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Mike.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Mike practices with The McCullough Group PC at 1873 South Bellaire Street in Denver, Colorado.

Warning: Mike does not carry legal malpractice insurance
