The state of Colorado provided Madeline Wilson with a law license in 1990.

The Colorado State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Knowingly asserted frivolous claims
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice e
• Knowingly disobeyed obligation under rules of a tribunal

In one matter, Dave repeatedly asserted claims of child abuse against his client’s husband, even though the trial court had already ruled those claims credible. In addition, Dave was aware the decision had never been appealed.

Dave also repeatedly advanced claims of bias against the judge in three frivolous motions to disqualify the judge that lacked proper support.

In a second matter, Dave Pope failed to report his 2007 conviction of driving under the influence to the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Dave practices 2037 East Phillips Place in Centennial, Colorado.
