Attorney Russell Burgin of London, KY; repeat offender  

The state of Kentucky presented Russell W. Burgin with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of Kentucky  Law School.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Russ guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to timely deposit client’s settlement check into escrow account
• Failed to satisfy Medicaid lien re: client’s settlement
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Russ!)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Russ’ First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition and a probated suspension for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on Kentucky Supreme Court the punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (April 2015), Russ practices at 1249 South Main Street in London, Kentucky.
