Attorney Timothy Smith of Charlotte; serial offender  

The state of North Carolina presented Timothy D. Smith with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Timmy guilty of the following misconduct.

Timmy’s 1^stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree  

• Neglected client’s divorce matter
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Timmy!)

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Timmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Timmy’s 2^ndbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree  

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed to respond to client inquiries

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Timmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Timmy’s 3^rdbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree  

• Failed to reasonably consult with client as to means to be utilized in which to meet her lawful objectives
• Failed to respond to client requests for information

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Timmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2015) Timmy practices at 725 East Trade Street in Charlotte, North Carolina.
