Attorney Peter Paul of Cashiers, NC; repeat offender  

 

The state of North Carolina presented Peter A. Paul with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School.

 

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Pete’s 1stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Law firm improperly represented two parties in a matter with adverse interest

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand

 

Pete’s 2ndbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Improperly disbursed entrusted funds
  • Failed to provide annual accountings of entrusted funds
  • Caused State Bar to have misapprehension of the facts
  • Failed to cored State Bar’s misapprehension of the facts

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

 

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Pete.

 

As we speak (ca. March 2015) Jimmy practices in the Cashier’s, North Carolina area.
