Attorney James Pardue of Cary, NC; ethical dwarf  

The state of North Carolina presented James H. Pardue with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform quarterly reconciliations of trust account
• Failed to properly identify sources of deposits
• Failed to provide written annual accountings to clients
• Disbursed legal fee and closing costs before funds deposited into trust accont
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Failed to properly safeguard client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jimmy.
