Attorney Linda Serrano of Union, NJ; convicted liar  

The state of New Jersey presented Linda M. Serrano with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from Loyola University Law School in Chicago.

The New Jersey Office of Ethics found Linda guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty plea to making a false statement to a federal agency
• Profited from scheme to fraudulently induce FHA to insure mortgage loans she wherein she acted as closing agent
• Prepared fraudulent HUD-1 settlement statements to qualify unqualified buyers knowing that HUD would rely on the forms
• Realized profits from legal fees in the range of $20,000-$40,000

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Lori by gifting her with a complimentary 18-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Linda practices at 936 Stuyvesant Avenue in Union, New Jersey.
