Judge Jennifer Rega of Blairsville, PA; scofflaw, lifetime porker 

The State of South Carolina presented J.M. Long III with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from Penn State University Law School.

After graduating from law school in 1998, Jenny has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for sixteen (16) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Pittsburgh/Latrobe area was about to offer her a good paying job.

The Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board found Jenny guilty of the following misconduct.

In September 2014, Jenny was driving her SUV in an erratic manner on Route 286 in Cherry Hill. She proceeded to sideswipe an oncoming vehicle that contained three people.

In an effort to cement her status as a Certified Scofflaw and Coward, Jenny found it acceptable to “fee the scene” of the accident she had just caused.

As a a perfunctory courtesy to Judicial Misfits, Jenny was allowed to enter Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for non-violent, first-time offenders, and if she completes the program, she can file to have charges that include obstruction of justice and accident involving damage to an attended vehicle withdrawn and expunged from her record.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Eddy punished J.M. the Perv by gifting her with a so-called Letter of Counsel. Rumor has it that these disciplinary letters are found in the bi-monthly issues of Mad Magazine.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Judicial Conduct Board didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jenny.

As we speak (ca. March 2015) Jenny continues to sit [when sober] as an Indiana County District Court Judge in Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
