Judge Theresa Brennan of Howell, MI; moronic loser  

The State of Michigan presented Theresa Brennan with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

In 2005, former Gov. Jennifer Granholm was duped into appointing Theresa as a District Court judge. Theresa didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Ann Arbor area. Terry received the appointment because she had convinced the local political hacks that she could be relied upon as a compliant lackey.

In early March 2015, the Michigan Court of Appeals ruled that Judge Brennan had exceeded her role in ruling whether an expert can testify at a civil trial alleging malpractice.

The appeals court ruled that attorneys who represented Alexander Figurski, who suffered a stroke during deliver, did present sufficient scientifically reliable date to advance its causation theory of prenatal malpractice against a former St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital doctor who delivered the baby in 2008.

In its ruling the court of appeals said in part:

• “The trial court [Brennan], in exceeding her role as gatekeeper, attempted to find absolute truth in the literature.”
• “Instead, the matter should have been presented to the trier of fact [jury].”

The child’s attorney Jack Beam of Chicago responded to the court’s spanking of Brennan the Dumbo by saying:

• “It was a resounding rejection; a unanimous rejection of (Brennan's) opinion that denied this brain damaged child his day in court.”
• “She [Brennan] She did not understand her function or ignored her function and she decided to be judge and jury when she should be just the judge.”

Unfortunately for the taxpayers, they are being made to foot the bill for the ignorance of Judge Brennan. Of course Brennan doesn’t much give a damn how much it cost the taxpayers because it isn’t costing her anything.

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Judge Brennan remains sitting as a District Court Judge in Howell, Michigan, which is about 30 miles north of Ann Arbor.
