Attorney J. Cameron Halford of Fort Mill, SC; repeat offender 

 

The State of South Carolina presented J. Cameron Halford with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Mercer University Law School.

 

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Cameron guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Cameron’s 1stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Failed to accurately document transaction on behalf of clients
  • Failed to conduct complete monthly reconciliations of trust account
  • Wrote numerous checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Court punished Cameron by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Cameron’s 2ndbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Wrote at least 35 checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
  • Failed to reconcile client ledger balances
  • Failed to conduct complete monthly reconciliations of trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Court punished Cameron by gifting him with another complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Cameron practices with Halford, Niemiec & Freeman LLP at 238 Rockmont Drive in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
