Attorney John Howard III of Greenville, SC; ethical dwarf

The State of South Carolina presented John Howard III with a law  license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to abide by client’s decisions regarding objectives of representation
• Failed to consult with client as to means by which client objectives are to be pursued
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to promptly inform client of any decision or circumstance where client’s informed consent is required
• Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
• Failed comply with client requests for information
• Failed to promptly deliver to third person funds the person was entitled to receive
• Failed to render full accounting regarding funds
• Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Eddy punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Johnny practices at 604 University Ridge in Greenville, South Carolina.
