The state of Georgia presented R. James Babson Jr. with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from St. Thomas University Law School.

 

The Georgia State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

In workers’ comp case, converted (stole) $44,700 in settlement proceeds for his own personal use

Client did not learn of theft until he made inquiry with insurance company

Professional offenses of a grave nature

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. Jerry 2015), Jimmy practices in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area.
