Justice Theresa Uzokwe of Nigeria; ethical goblin

The National Judicial Council (NJC) found Justice Theresa Uzokwe guilty of the following misconduct.

• Conduct violated the constitution
• Improperly worked with Judicial Service Commission instead of the Commission constituted by the State Governor and confirmed by the House of Assembly
• Colluded in and aided an unconstitutional process by allowing himself to be sworn-in as acting Chief Judge
• Improperly delivered judge in favor of a litigant

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, Chief Judge of Abia State ordered the retirement of Theresa.
